Hello, I have beans, beets, peas, and a peanut plant (trying it new this year)that all have something eating the new plants. The beans have some big bites out of them. What could be eating them this time of year? Rabbits, birds? I do not see any bugs or fungus on any of the plants. Only the leaves are affected, not the stems.

probably rabbits, however, it is hard to be certain. The only defense against them is to erect a fence. Here is a link to control. http://www.bachmans.com/divHomePage.ep?currentNodeBean=GardenCare&categoryCode=02&pageIndex=_pageInd...
