Are commercial deer repellents safe for use on vegetable? Also, I have cabbage growing and I have seen no cabbage moths. Do you have a reason for this?

If you are dealing with deer in a vegetable garden the best recommendation is fencing. You can view our videos for ideas on low cost fencing. http://youtu.be/7wdE0WONyEs

Commercial deer repellents contain different active ingredients and we cannot comment on their safety in a vegetable garden. Repellents also have to be reapplied due to the elements. You can contact the National Pesticide Information Line for more information on toxicity at 1-800-858-7378.
The cool wet weather may have affected the cabbage moth. However, there are reports that they are starting to appear in gardens.
