Some moth pest have a set number and others the trap catch is not a good indicator of the population. Unfortunately cranberry fruit worm falls into the second group. Some people catch very high numbers and other are low. The big kicker is impact on your farm is cranberry fruit worm a pest you need to control or a sometime thing. The traps are used to mark the beginning of flight to allow you to time when to spray for egg hatch, not to have you spray adults when the population is high.
