I have 5 peach trees that have buds on them but they are not open up. What is wrong with them?

Peach trees are not extremely cold hardy, and we had a very cold winter. Reliance is the most cold hardy peach variety. Reliance can tolerate temperatures down to -20 degrees Fahrenheit. Other varieties are less cold tolerant.

I would wait another 2 weeks to get a better idea of the condition of the peach trees. Those areas that have not begun to leaf out by June 10th are dead. If only a few areas are dead, prune out the dead portions. If the vast majority of the tree is dead, it's probably best to remove the tree.
