Streptomycin and Native Pollinators

Asked May 22, 2014, 12:38 PM EDT

Greetings. What, if any, effect has been observed on native pollinators (native to Pennsylvania and in this case specifically Northeastern Pennsylvania) of spraying Streptomycin for fire blight? Several publications I have seen reference spraying Streptomycin during pre-bloom and bloom when humidity is > 65%. Thank you.
