We have many thriving evergreens on our property, except for one corner (~ 6 sq. ft) where they (1 tree and 2 bushes) have turned brown over the past two years and died! Any opinions, suggestions, advice would be greatly appreciated.

From the information you provide it is not possible to determine why you are having problems with some of the plants in one corner of your yard. Have there been any changes in that part of your yard e.g. construction. You need to do some detective work. Some things to look for are: the amount of sun exposure the site receives, plants should be selected accordingly. Is the drainage different in that area of the yard? Check to make sure water drains from the area. How old are the plants? To answer the type of question you have it is best to call to speak to a horticulture consultant. They are available Mon-Fri from 8am-1pm. The number is 800-342-2507.
