Scotch pine problem

Asked March 30, 2014, 8:09 PM EDT

Hi, I have a scotch pine tree in my front yard and it's losing a lot of its needles and oozing a lot of sap. Do you have any idea what might be wrong with it? It's 9 years old and has been doing great up until a month or so. Thanks for the help.

Hi,Sorry you have a concern. Thanx for the photos - they help a LOT!Without seeing the tree in person, I can recommend several sources of info from CSU for you to read to help you make good decsions about what to do!The BEST course of action is to consult with a certified arborist (get 3 estimates) who is licensed to help you decide on the next course of action (if necessary)!RegardsPaul W.
