plants native to Albuquerque foothills

Asked March 21, 2014, 10:49 AM EDT

Would there be a listing of what plants/grasses/shrubs/trees would be considered truly native to the Albuquerque foothills?

Maybe even a second listing of the same that have been introduced to the foothills and become so common as to now be considered almost native.

Thanks!

Bernalillo County New Mexico

There are several good sources for native plant information specific to that region of New Mexico. New Mexico State University Extension publication New Mexico Range Plants available at http://aces.nmsu.edu/pubs/_circulars/CR374_SM.pdf there are also several plant lists available from the NMSU herbarium, though not specific to Bernalillo County they are from neighboring counties so the plants are the same, this can be found at http://aces.nmsu.edu/academics/rangescienceherbarium/plant-lists-and-floras-f.html
Also the Native Plant Society of New Mexico http://www.npsnm.org might be a good source as well.
