We have a problem with bees. Last fall we killed @100 that got in the house when the weather was turning cold. We see them swarming in and out of a crack in a back-yard tree. Should we try to plug the hole up or can a bee keeper remove them for us? They are beginning to swarm again now that the weather is warming up.

I would not plug the hole. If they are active now, they are most likely honey bees and are very beneficial. Depending upon the location in the tree, a beekeeper may be able to collect them. Email me directly at meyer.213@osu.edu with your location in Warren County and I will email you back some names of beekeepers that collect swarms in your area of the county.
