There are no reports of dogs being affected by the berries or leaves of the Colorado juniper (Juniperus scopulorum). Junipers have many different oils and other co0mpounds that if eaten in large amounts would likely cause a dog to vomit.
Pregnant cows that eat large amounts of the juniper leaves may abort, but no such effect has been reported in dogs.
