Allergy to dairy products
I have a 13 year old boy who is anaphylactically allergic to dairy products. How long does it take for spilled milk (proteins) on a hard service to breakdown, as to not create an allergic reaction if touched? Thanks. Joe

Normally, we would not rely on these proteins breaking down on a surface in order to remove them with regard to preventing an allergic response. Many of these proteins are stable enough in thier structure to remain active even through drying or heating.
The best is to properly clean the surfaces that have been contacted by allergens to remove those proteins
