My Aloe Vera is dying??

Asked January 20, 2014, 1:55 PM EST

It's on my table by the window, pot has good drainage at the bottom, only watering when soil is dry as recommended. Leaves are turning brown and mushy at base then just fall off. How can I bring it back

For aloe; water about once a week; have good well drained soil.
The aloe is a warm environment plant so the weather during the first week in December may have been too cold. Being close to the window.

Look for a leaf that is clean of any diseases and re-pot it and let grow.. The other pot soil may have the root rot disease in it.
