My name is Andy Mauschbaugh and I work for Nationwide Agribusiness out of Des Moines, IA. As a result of a serious increase in 2013 of grain entrapments we have decided to take on an initiative to promote grain bin safety. We would like invite Penn State University Ag Extension to show its support of Grain Bin Safety Week (Feb. 23 - Mar. 1, 2014) and to help us get our life-saving messages into the hands of the people who can make a difference. Organized by Nationwide Agribusiness, Grain Bin Safety Week (GBSW) is a week-long event dedicated to reducing the number of preventable injuries and deaths associated with grain storage and handling. We have made available the following promotional materials to help you promote GBSW in your area: News Release. Download customizable news release and distribute to your local media contacts. Logos and web banners. Download one or more GBSW images for use on websites, email signatures, print materials and social media. When placing an image on your website, please link to grainbinsafetyweek.com. This will increase search engine visibility on our website and yours. Newsletter. Download GBSW newsletter article for use in your company newsletter. Event Flier. Print the attached GBSW flier and make readily available to customers. In appreciation for your support, we will list Penn State University Ag Extension along with a link back to your website on the Partners page of grainbinsafetyweek.com. Please let me know if you have any questions, suggestions or require any assistance. Thank you very much for supporting Grain Bin Safety Week.
