Can opened inoculant be stored in air-tight baggie?

Greetings, I appreciate your posted information on seed inoculant. My community gardeners want to open and split a bag of inoculant among 10 people. Can we transfer, store and seal the inoculant in air-tight sandwich baggies as long as we keep it dry and cool? url: http://www.ext.colostate.edu/pubs/crops/00305.html

I don't see any problem as long as you then store it in a cool place (probably the refrigerator) and use it this season. Actually, I'd say this is a smart idea since 1 bag of inoculant is way more than a home gardener can use in 1 season.
