i just enrolled in the health coverage through UMD and have not received any insurance cards. what do i need to do to correct this.

Just to be clear, are you an employee at the University of Maryland?

yes i am an employee at the University of Maryland at college park. i started in june but didnt sign up for insurance until the new year.

The department where you work might have it's own HR department that will help you. That would be a good place to start. Otherwise, here are some more good sources of information:

Depending on what vendor you chose (Aetna, Carefirst or United Healthcare) you could call them and ask about the whereabouts of your cards. Their phone numbers are on the second page of this document:
Be prepared to give them your SSN and maybe your Employee ID too.
