High altitude puff pastry
Will puff pastry rise at high altitude (9000 feet)--like Pepperidge Farms or Dufour's brands?
Larimer County Colorado
Good question. Without contacting the company directly, I would say that commercial pastry products usually will work well up to 8,000 ft; however, it is worth a try at 9,000 ft. Not knowing what the package instructions say, I would recommend baking your pastry in a very hot oven (400 F.) to achieve maximum puff. Hope it works!
