I just planted a young wisteria here in Santiago, Chile, two weeks ago. Then I realized it was in a spot that got only a short time of morning sun. Can I safely transplant it to a sunny spot without damaging it? It is mid-late spring here since our seasons are opposite of the U.S.

Yes, the plant is not settled yet and you can safely move it to another location. Be sure to place 2 or 3 inches of mulch around the plant (but not touching it), and keep it watered for a couple of weeks if there is no rain.

Happy gardening,
