My viburnum bushes are in desperate need of pruning. Is it ok to do it now (November)?

Yes, you can prune in November. However, because Viburnums set buds on new growth and develop though the winter to bloom in the spring, you will sacrifice next year's bloom where you prune budded branches. Suckers should be pruned in the spring. Dead, damaged and diseased branches may be pruned at any time. Here is a website that covers the basics. Please let us know if you have further questions.
