Home Canned BBQ Sauce?
Would like to can a batch of my BBQ Sauce recipe: 6 oz can tomato paste, 1.5 cans water, 1/3 C brwn sugar or 1/4 C honey, 1/4 C white vinegar, 2 tsp onion pwdr, 1 tsp garlic pwdr, 1 tsp cayenne, 1 T mustard pwdr, 1 T Wooster sauce, 1/2 tsp liquid smoke, all increased, of course. Would I pressure can according to your tomato sauce recipe? Love your service.

The cooked tomato paste would make this a different product than tomato sauce.
Once products are preserved, their heat transfer properties change.
We are not able to analyze recipes to determine safe processing methods or times.
You could start with the OSU Food Innovation Center who is able to conduct tests of products to determine acidity and sugar content to start the process of determining a processing time. They do charge a fee for most of their lab services.

This could be safely frozen for longer term storage.
