How can refrigerator pickles last longer?

Can you seal refrigerator pickles in jars so they will last longer?

Refrigerator pickles usually last 2 to 3 weeks. You can increase this by increasing the salt or by canning them, but it only extends them another 1 to 2 weeks, and they still need to stay refrigerated. If you cook and can them, they can last a year or more.
