canning substituting red peppers for green peppers

I am making a chili sauce recipe that calls for 6 cups of green peppers and 2 cups of red peppers. Can I substitute and use all red or yellow peppers?

Yes- you can safely substitute one type of pepper for another as long as you use the same amount the recipe calls for.
