Spider ID please

Can you please identify this spider for me? It and its web are located on the outside of my glass sliding door. Thanks!

Hello:From what I can see in the photo, I believe this is a marbled orb weaver spider. They are typically bright orange with banded legs, and they are moderately common especially in the fall of the year.

All of the orb weaver spiders are harmless. They are not considered to be dangerous. The orb weavers are the outdoor spiders that spin the "typical" spider webs of concentric circles and radiating lines.
