Help Identify Snake

What snake is this? Seen in Montgomery County a couple weeks back.

It appears it could be an Eastern hognosed snake. Not sure because I can't see the head which has an upturned shout. Colors can be misleading but behavior is characteristic. When threatened it often flattens the head like a cobra's, hisses and sometimes even "dry strikes" - kind of like a head butt. If disturbed too much they will also "play dead," including rolling over on its back and hanging the tongue out the side of the mouth, all the while emitting a foul dead odor.
