Hello Dr. Skinner or others, I have seen Russian sage Perovskia growing this summer and bees seem to really like it, is it a suitable plant to grow for nectar and honey production. It is hardy and blooms most of the summer it seems. Thanks for any help. Bob Hathcock

Ohio State Extension lists Russian sage as a nectar plant for Ohio, so it probably produces nectar here too. It should be a good plant for bees. Here is the Ohio list
