Growing Cigar Tobacco in Bahamas - Looking for Researchers
Asked July 25, 2013, 9:37 PM EDT
Abaco Foods is a 1,200 acre produce farm in the Abacos, Bahamas. We will be growing premium cigar tobacco this upcoming season. We are looking for researchers, students, or anyone who has expertise in the tobacco agriculture area to join our team.
We are looking for one or possibly two people to come to the Bahamas to help us with research on the farm. They would arrive around November and stay until February. Applicants should have expertise in soil, water, pesticides, herbicides, and other parts of tobacco production agriculture.
In return, we would provide housing for the individuals as well as a monthly compensation.
