Jelly making problem

I made current raspberry jelly. It came out syrupy, not jelled. I used a low sugar pectin and the correct amount of sugar. Followed the directions and was shocked when it didn't work. Can i open them reheat the jelly and add more pectin? or? I hate to think my tedious harvest of currents was wasted.

You can remake the jelly. There is a fact sheet on the OSU Extension Food Preservation page that has more specifics: could also check with the specific pectin manufacturer for instructions for remaking jelly using that pectin. The pectin manuafacturer's 800 number and web address are on the package.
