southern cream pea

Asked July 4, 2013, 11:46 AM EDT

several years ago, my fatter and I truck farmed.
we planted a white pea (snap-e, snap-ez, o
something like that), I can't remember for sure.
The pods were 8-10 inches long with very small
seed. When cooked, had a very clear liquor.
Can you help identify this pea?

Contact the Washington County Extension Service http://Washington.ifas.ufl.edu . They should be able to answer the question.

Thanks! If had wanted to contact them I would have done so. I think the peas I was
asking about were developed in Texas, but I am very sorry to have bothered you.

Your county agent or the state extension where you did your truck farming may be of assistance.
