I saw a large yellow toad

Asked July 1, 2013, 5:14 PM EDT

I was walking through the Denver Cherry Creek neighborhood and saw this toad in a garden. It was quite large, the body was probably larger than my fist. It is a very bright yellow with some unique brown markings. Wondering what this is, I can't find a picture of anythiung similar on the web?

If it was that large, it is probably a bullfrog, which is a species not native to Colorado. For more information, contact the Colorado Herpetological Society: http://www.coloherps.org/index.html
