Drip irrigation for foundation watering can be set up from an outdoor faucet or by adding another zone/station on your sprinkler system. Here are the major manufacturers’ web sites with video or print tutorials • http://www.netafim-usa-landscape.com/ • www.digcorp.com • http://www.rainbird.com/drip/index.htm • http://www.toro.com/sprinklers/guides.html I recommend dripline with 12 inch spacing. I also recommend you use a faucet timer which is manual or a battery powered drip irrigation timer you attach to the faucet. Attached is a picture showing how to attach to a faucet. Please notice how I put a splitter on the faucet so the faucet is not just tied up for the drip system.
