Hello, can you tell me what variety this Yucca is. I pass by it every day and it holds it shape all year round. It is not very tall and the leaves stay sturdy and upright without drooping. In late spring it has a showing of beautiful white flowers. I am interested in this variety because of its compactness and hardiness.

There are at least two varieties of yucca with yellow leaf centers and green margins: 'Golden Sword' and 'Garland Gold'. The second is about two feet tall and is supposed to be "more intense" than Golden Sword. We can't be more specific than that. Both of these will hold their color in winter. There are many variegated varieties and more come on the market all the time.
