Composting with Chicken Manure

Are there any special considerations for composting chicken manure at this altitude? Do you know of anyone who has had success with this here in Laramie?

Chicken manure is somewhat more nitrogen-rich than ruminant manure, so more vegetable matter should be added to get a good ferment and effectively use the vegetation. I would suggest using at least twice as much vegetation as manure.
