tiny red bugs

Asked June 10, 2013, 7:19 PM EDT

I have very tiny red bugs covering the stalks of one of the flowers in my garden. Any idea what these are, and whether they are something to be concerned about?

Without a photo it is difficult to say what the insect is. Some possibilities are aphids, clover mites, or assassin bug nymphs. Please send a photo if you keep noticing them.
