Growing Peas

Asked June 6, 2013, 8:44 PM EDT

What is causing my peas for the last two years to have a stunted growth. It,s like someone is cutting the plants with a pair of scissors. Planted in March and their only 3-4 inches tall. Thanks, Lowell Mikolash

Can you send a photo? There are many things that can cause stunting, but if they are "snipped" that sounds like you may have an unwelcome garden visitor (rabbit, mouse, squirrel, cutworms, etc.). Or you may have a soil issue, herbicide tainted compost, herbicide drift, etc. A photo can tell me a lot.
