My newly sprouted chard and beets have the disease shown in the pictures. Are these leafminers, or fungal? Suggested treatment?

Your newly sprouted chard and beets do not have a fungal disease. We do see some leafminer damage and the rest is environmental damage. Perhaps caused by the wind or cold temperatures. The plants should outgrow the environmental damage. For additional
information on leafminer go to our Grow It Eat It website, https://www.extension.umd.edu/growit/insects/leafminer
