Diasporic Texan wanting to keep a piece of home (Bluebonnets) indoors

I've been (unfortunately) living in New England for the past few years and will be moving to North Carolina in the coming months. I had an idea for using a recycled wooden pallet as a vertical garden inside my apartment and would like to grow bluebonnets in it. I've researched growing requirements and figure I can satisfy the full light and low water requirements fairly easily, but how long do you figure the blooms will last under controlled temperature and light conditions indoors?

If you meet the temperature, light and humidity requirements, the plant should perform as it would in its native environment.
