potassium advice

Our potassium levels are above optimum according to the chart. Yet you recommend that we put potassium on. we are confused.Thank you. Joe Rabidoux

I can't specifically answer without viewing your soil test results. Please provide the code (capital letters and numbers) . In general, even if your potassium is above optimum it won't hurt anything. It is often easier to find a fertlizer that meets your other needs, but still will have some potassium in it. That is probably why your recommendation included it. However, if you would like me to take a look at your specific results, please provide the code by updating this question. Thank you.
