I can't specifically answer without viewing your soil test results. Please provide the code (capital letters and numbers) . In general, even if your potassium is above optimum it won't hurt anything. It is often easier to find a fertlizer that meets your other needs, but still will have some potassium in it. That is probably why your recommendation included it.
