I would like to plant a pinon tree near the front corner of my house. How many feet away from the house should the tree be ?

Adams County Colorado

The mature size of Pinion pine is ~20 feet tall by ~20 feet wide. So planting the tree at least 10-12 feet from your house would be advisable. It’s also worth noting that pinion pine, once established, is a very drought tolerant plant and can in fact experience more insect and dieses issues when placed in a situation where it receives a lot of water (like in an irrigated lawn). So once it gets established, while occational irrigation will not hurt, be sure not to drown it!Hope this helps if you have any further questions let me know,
