Engineering Camp in Maryland's STEM Education Centers

Asked May 7, 2013, 10:42 AM EDT

Why is the engineering camp not being offered to students on Maryland's Lower Eastern Shore through STEM education centers?

Maryland 4-h

The 4-H Engineering Camp was started by the Faculty Extension Assistant in Baltimore County. He had the background and knowledge in this field and wanted to share this information with youth. The camp has grown over the past few years, and youth throughout Maryland are invited to attend.

As interest in this program expands, the possibility of offering it in another area of the state may become a reality. However, it would be necessary to put together a team of professionals and volunteers to make it happen.

I would love to hear any ideas or suggestions that you may have on this subject. Feel free to email me at cmorris1@umd.edu.
