Help: I just discovered your site. I cut my roses in April, as I usually do, and now they look horrible. A friend suggested that I cut the tips off of all the roses, and cut off all of the black stems. These roses are my joy, I have 12 bushes and I have never seen this is all the years in Colorado. Help, what can I do to save them?
Thank you, Judy Quinn

Hi Judy, I'm sorry your roses have gotten damaged! Unfortunately this Spring weather has been quite rough on roses and many many other plants. You may still prune your roses at this point as they will appreciate it and still send new growth this Spring. Please see the following link for more information on rose care: Thanks, Zoey
