should I cut back my hyssop plants in early summer...they get so tall they flop over and i have to stake them and tie them up...thanks Judi

Hello, Hyssop responds well to pruning and can be shaped every few weeks during active summer growth if you like. They become quite woody after 3-4 years and may need to be replaced. If they are pruned back quite severely they will develop bushy new growth. I hope this answers your question. Thanks, Zoey
