identify type of apple tree

Asked April 30, 2013, 7:45 PM EDT

I bought 2 apple trees last year. One is not growing and I can get a free replacement if I can identify which one it is. Can you identify the type of apple tree I have by looking at the leaves on the one that is still growing? I can also take pictures and bring to you. Please let me know. Thank you.

It is not possible to identify an apple cultivar by the leaf. There are very slight varietal differences in growth habit and bark color. Depending on the cultivar you planted this may give us a clue as to which tree is living. Feel free to call me at 784-6660 to see if we can make an educated guess.
