Japanese Maple Eaten by Deer

Asked April 24, 2013, 8:43 PM EDT

I'm looking to plant new landscaping in the foothills southwest of Denver in a deer and elk area. I am wondering if Japanese Maple will be eaten by deer?

If deer are hungry enough, they will eat pretty much almost any plant. The following link identifies ways to manage deer in your yard: http://www.ext.colostate.edu/pubs/natres/06520.html
