Thorny Bush in Northeast Connecticut
We have a slope area that has always had a problem with plant that was once identified as (?). It's a very thorny and tough plant similar to a rose bush. I've found that burning is the only dependable means of eradication. Any tips for green solutions?
I would bring a sample to the Tolland County Cooperative Extension office at the Tolland Agriculture Center in Vernon. They have Master Gardeners on hand to id plants and offer answers to your questions. Their number is (860) 875-3331. Knowing what plant you are dealing with, may affect control strategies.
