st. augustine grass control

Asked April 13, 2013, 1:42 PM EDT

I have a Bermuda grass lawn in Houston, Texas. My neighbor has a St Augustine lawn - which has runners encroaching into my lawn. I have tried to control this by pulling the St Augustine runners, but am losing the battle. Is there a spray I can use to kill the St Aug runners without also killing my Bermuda grass?

Interesting situation. There is not a selective herbicide that you can use to kill the St. Augustine and keep your Bermuda grass. The only recommendation I have is to possibly use metal edging between the 2 lawns to keep the St. Augustine from encroaching.
