oxalis destruction

Asked March 17, 2013, 9:01 PM EDT

yellow-flowered oxalis has established itself in nearly fifty percent of our yard. i hesitate to use roundup because the weed is heavily infested in st. augustine lawn and perennial bed to the point where it now crowds out the sun from desirable plants. please tell me a product that will kill the oxalis to the root/bulb, not just the current foliage. each year it is more dense than before. desperately need good advice. thank you
