I've been reading about white clover lawns. What is your experience with these in Colorado? We live in Arvada.

Blending legumes with grass species is done all over the world as a natural systems approach to fertilizing the turfgrass / pasture. It works very well too, and it will work in Arvada just fine. The only downfall to blending Dutch white clover with your lawn is in regards to human safety. If you enjoy rolling around on the lawn, sitting on the lawn, or walking bare-foot on the lawn you could inadvertantly step, sit, or roll over a bee that had been foraging on the flowers of the clover and you could get stung by the bee trying to defend itself from getting squished.
