I am trying to grow cucumbers in my house this winter. I have them in timed release fertilizer soil. They started out doing very well, it has been about 2 month now. Now they are starting to look poor. The leaves are becoming white speckled and like they could be drying up. Please help.

I am sorry for the delay in answering your question. It is difficult to diagnose the problem with your cucumbers without more information. There are many factors that may be effecting these plants. Less than optimal light, moisture, soil, humidity, and soil nutrients are a few of the factors that could be the cause of the plant's decline. I suggest that you call your local Penn State Extension office. they are located at 6024 Glades Pike, Suite 101, Somerset, PA 15501.
