What to do about black widow spiders in satsuma tree -- lots of them? Tree partially harvested when spiders noticed.

I can't find anyone who knows of this problem. The spiders have been definitely identified by a pest control person. They did not have a good solution.

When chemical control is needed, use products containing diazinon, chlorpyrifos, propoxur, bendiocarb, synergized pyrethrins, carbaryl, resmethrin, tetramethrin, malathion or mixtures of these insecticides according to an article by J Jackman of Tx A&M Ext Service. I've also been told that adding regular Dawn soap, 1 tsp to 1 gallon chemical will help in getting through the webs. Black widow spiders are nothing to mess with so if your application doesn't work then a professional is the way to go.
