These appear to be sprigs of bush or tree. Will broadleaf herbicide kill this? Thanks

These are maple seedlings. They are easily pulled up right now, or dislodged with a rake.

You can use a herbicide containing 2,4-D or dicamba but be very careful about how you apply it so you don’t affect other plants. Read the label, it’s the law.
