Expert Response

Hi Lisa and thanks for your question about a natural control for Peach Leaf Curl. Unfortunately, the only natural control is planting a resistant variety such as :
Autumn Rose, August Etter, Avalon, Avalon Pride, Charlotte, Early Charlotte, Early Crawford, Frost, Indian Free, Kreibich, Muir, Nanaimo, Oregon Curl Free, and Q-1-8.

Beyond that, you will need to spray a fungicide twice a year if you don't want the tree to weaken and die after about 3 years. The chemicals available for home use are the following:
-Bonide Copper Fungicide at 4.3 to 13 oz/3 to 9 gal water.
-Ortho MAX Garden Disease Control at 3.75 teaspoons/4 gal water

Neither of these are organic, however there are some organic chemicals available to licensed pesticide companies.

Or you can try figs instead! Sorry it's not better news, but peaches are not a great crop for the Willamette Valley.
